Family Fun in the Sun

Relaxing Lagoon Access

My stay at the Rarotongan was absolutely delightful! The setting is stunning with beautiful views and plenty of activities, but some aspects could use improvement, particularly the dining experience. The location is simply perfect, right by the beach, making it easy and enjoyable to relax and unwind.

We enjoyed a grand beachfront suite that was spacious with a fantastic view right on the beach. It was well-equipped for our family with a full kitchen and outside shower. However, I must admit that while it was spacious, the room could use some updates to match a more modern feel.

The service was generally good, with the staff very helpful for most inquiries, but I noticed some inconsistency in the timeliness of room cleaning. There were moments when the staff were a bit overwhelmed, affecting their efficiency.

Location-wise, it couldn't be better! Right by the beach and surrounded by natural beauty, it offers an excellent escape. Plus, it's conveniently located near other dining options if you want to explore more of the local cuisine.

The Rarotongan is a slice of paradise, with a fantastic beach and stunning blue waters that truly enhance the experience. My room was comfortable and only a short walk from the beach and pool. The dining options were enjoyable, especially with a good variety on the menu, but the Wi-Fi left a lot to be desired. Fortunately, the staff were exceptionally attentive and truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

I had a mixed experience at Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium. On one hand, the location is stunning with crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling. On the downside, the rooms were very old and not well-maintained, and I struggled with service issues, especially upon check-in. While I appreciated the friendly efforts from some staff, the overall quality left a lot to be desired, and I wouldn't say it was worth the price paid.
